Designing Packaging for Efficient Assembly and Fulfillment
Map the packing sequence
Observe how the product, inserts and printed materials enter the package. The structure should support a clear sequence without unnecessary turning, temporary holding or repeated adjustments.
Reduce avoidable complexity
Extra tabs, loose components and difficult closures can slow assembly. Where practical, simplify the structure while preserving protection and presentation.
Test with the intended team
A short packing trial can reveal issues that drawings do not show. Record assembly time, common mistakes and any damage to printed surfaces before confirming production.
